This historic release illuminates the artistry of three distinguished Italian violinists of the twentieth century. Wanda Luzzato, whose remarkable talent remained largely undiscovered until our groundbreaking 2016 release of her German radio broadcasts, returns to the spotlight in this new compilation. The collection presents her previously unreleased Swiss radio broadcasts of three significant violin concertos, offering unique interpretations for which no alternative recordings exist. Of particular historical importance is her interpretation of the Khachaturian Violin Concerto, following her distinction as its Italian premiere performer in 1948. The release also introduces the first-ever publication of three masterful early radio recordings by Aldo Ferraresi, made for the German Reichsender Saarbrücken in 1939, documenting his considerable acclaim in Germany during the pre-war period. Completing this valuable historical document is a selection of previously unreleased German radio broadcasts by Renato De Barbieri, whose artistry earned him significant recognition throughout Europe.
