Janine Andrade Vol.1

8.99 €

Janine Andrade is that kind of violinist, for some reason largely forgotten today but eminently worth exploring. These previously unpublished performances of three Paris radio broadcasts from the years 1958 and 1960, demonstrate that she was an excellent French violinist. Her career won critical praise until a catastrophic stroke in 1972 brought an end to her public life. Our rare CD release aims to bring her name and artistry back into the present.
